Xiaomi Mi 10E With Samsung Exynos 990 Soc?
Upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10E has appeared in the database of the popular Geekbench benchmark portal. The phone confirms to equipped with a single-chip Samsung Exynos 990 SoC, 8 GB of RAM and runs on the Android 10 operating system. It scored almost 913 points in single-threaded mode and 2755 points on using all the cores of the Samsung Exynos 990.
However, we know Samsung uses both Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms for its flagships like S and Note series for a long time. Still, it’s strange that Xiaomi using latest Exynos chipset. Interestingly, the new version of Xiaomi Mi 10 based on Exynos 990 has already tested in the popular benchmark as per some reports. Probably, upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10E would cheaper compare to its siblings.
A few days before, Samsung’s new processor Exynos 1000 has been spotted on the Internet. Unlike other Samsung chips, this would use a new RDNA GPU technology, which is authorised by Samsung and will replace the existing Mali GPU. The upcoming Exynos 1000 is very good at running score because of new RDNA GPU. Besides, got a score of 181FPX from Manhattan 3.1, which is almost 50% higher than the Adreno 650 GPU of the Snapdragon 865.
Moreover, the new Exynos 1000 processor will use a 5nm process and expected to be released at the end of this year or early next year. Therefore, the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series would not use this chipset. In addition, the Exynos 1000 ran out of 138 FPS in the Aztec ruins (Normal) test, which is almost 2.5 times that of the Snapdragon 865. In the Aztec ruins (High) test, the processor frame rate reached 58 FPS, which is also almost 3 times that of the Snapdragon 865.
