Xiaomi Announced Mi 10 Ultra: Tops DxOMark’s Camera Rankings

Xiaomi yesterday launched the all-new Mi 10 Ultra with 120W fast charging technology. Overall, the smartphone features premium specs and Xiaomi mark the 10th anniversary in the smartphone business by unveiling the Mi 10 Ultra. Further, the smartphone gets the top spot on DxOMark’s Camera Rankings. The Mi 10 Ultra overall 130 breaks down.

By launching the handset, now the Mi 10 series has four devices including Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite. However, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10 Lite are not ready for India. Only the Mi 10 is available in the country as of now.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Specification and Features

The Mi 10 Ultra come up with a curved 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 10-bit colour output. The phone feature a 120Hz refresh rate is accompanied by 240Hz touch sampling for smooth operation and support HDR 10+ on the smartphone panel. The other feature includes 20MP selfie shooter and improved fingerprint scanner as well as stereo speakers.

On the back, we find the large camera bump which houses a 1/1.32” 48MP primary shooter for taking amazing photos. For support, it has 20MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP portrait sensor and a telephoto lens with 120X ultra-zoom support. Additionally, there is a laser auto-focus and flicker sensor. According to Xiaomi, the phone will be able to record 8K videos from the primary and telephoto shooters.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 865 paired with 8, 12 or 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM. Although, the company does not go for the latest Snapdragon 865 Plus that is 10% faster than Snapdragon 865.

Interestingly, the Mi10 Ultra packs a huge 4,500 mAh battery which can charge fully in 20 minutes using all 120W Mi Turbo Charge. We have seen this technology is first commercially. Due to blazing-fast charging speeds, Xiaomi added LiquidCool 2.0 vapour chamber ensure optimal thermal management. Wireless charging on the Ultra can take up 50W speeds. The phone also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra come up with limited Transparent Edition. However, non-limited edition will be available in Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver all of which feature ceramic backs.
