Qualcomm has launched the high-end Snapdragon 865 plus processor on Tuesday. The newly launched processor would available in upcoming gaming beast Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion. Qualcomm increases CPU core up to 3.1 GHz, a 10% rise compared to the 2.84 GHz frequency of the vanilla Snapdragon 865 chip.
Although, the flagship Snapdragon 865 plus exclusively powerful for gaming. Like SD865, this processor also supports 144 Hz displays, but to make better gaming experience it has a 10% better chance of hitting the required game framerates.

The company also brings FastConnect 6900 (up from 6800) that support for the latest Wi-Fi 6E, which works in the 6 GHz band to deliver speeds of up to 3.2 Gbps and latency under 3 ms. Moreover, it also support Bluetooth 5.2.
Like the standard SD865, the Snapdragon 865 plus still use external X55 modem to deliver global 5G connectivity which supports both sub-6 GHz and mmWave. Other feature includes Quick Charge 4.0+ with AI control and Spectra 480 ISP and Hexagon 698 DSP, respectively.
