Google launches a new search discovery site called Keen

Google, on Friday, launches a new search and social discovery site called Keen, which seems to be a Pinterest competitor. The Keen uses Artificial Intelligence technology and machine learning for helpful content related to your interests.

According to C.J. Adams, the co-founder of Keen “Keen lets you curate the content you love, share your collection with others and find new content based on what you have saved,”

The service eventually helps you to find or recommend similar content based on your Idea. It works based on the new Google Search integrations and AI product that helps to get better recommendations regarding your favorite topics that you choose.

Well, I had test out keen today by sign in using my Google Account and created a new Keen named “Tech and Smartphone“. After a few saves of tech-related websites and content, my explore section is filled with tech-related content from different sites. Here is the screenshot of the Explore page.

Google Keen

You can use Google Keen through its website or as an Android app. You just need a Google Account for signing up. Anyway, what do you think about Google’s new project? Is Keen can overtake Pinterest from the social discovery site? Let’s know in the comment.
